INSULATED STEEL · CARRIAGE HOUSE · FULL VIEW · WOOD-LOOK

New garage doors for Northwest Arkansas homes

ProDoor, Midland, Amarr and C.H.I. doors, measured, sold and installed by our own crew. New garage doors start at $785, and the in-home estimate is free.

Chapter 01

What to choose: styles that suit Northwest Arkansas houses

A new garage door is the biggest moving part on your house and often the first thing anyone sees from the street. It has to look right, seal tight and run quietly for years, and that comes down to the door you pick and how carefully it goes in.

Insulated steel handles hail and humidity. Carriage house doors borrow the look of old swing-out barn doors. Full view glass suits the modern builds going up in Bentonville and Rogers, and wood-look steel gives you the warmth of cedar or walnut without the sanding and rot. If only one or two sections are damaged, a panel repair may be all you need, and we will tell you so.

How we work: one crew from estimate to install

The estimate is free and it happens at your house. We measure the opening, check the headroom and the side room, and bring samples so you can hold colors and windows against your own siding and brick.

The technicians who sell the door are the ones who install it, so nothing gets lost between the estimate and install day. We size the springs to the weight of the new door, take the old one down, hang the new sections, tracks and seals, then balance it and test the opener and the safety reverse before we leave.

Chapter 03

Aftercare: two warranties and the R-value question

Every install carries Elite's lifetime workmanship warranty, and the door has its own manufacturer warranty on top. Pro Door, for example, covers the paint finish for life on its 4000 through 8000 Series for the original single-family owner. The full terms are on our warranty page.

If the garage is attached or sits under a bedroom, insulation is worth paying for. Midland ThermoGuard reaches an 18.0 R-value and the Amarr Olympus reaches up to 19.40. We will tell you honestly whether the extra layers pay off for your garage, and whether your opener should be replaced along with the door.

Insulated steel

The workhorse of Northwest Arkansas driveways. Raised panel and flush steel doors hold up to hail and humidity, need almost no upkeep and come in single, double and triple layer builds.

Pro Door’s 4000 through 8000 Series carry a lifetime paint finish warranty for the original owner.

Full View glass

Wood-Look

C.H.I. Planks finishes and Amarr Classica put a realistic wood grain on insulated steel, so you get the warmth of cedar or walnut without the sanding, staining and rot that real wood doors need in Arkansas weather.

Commercial and shop doors

We install overhead doors for shops, barns and small businesses across Northwest Arkansas, from insulated steel to full view aluminum storefront doors. Heavier doors get heavier springs and hardware sized to the job.

19.40

Top of the Amarr Olympus range. Midland ThermoGuard reaches 18.0.

Insulated doors keep an attached garage cooler in July, warmer in January and much quieter. We will tell you whether the extra layers pay off for your garage.

Window tops, glass styles, decorative handles and dozens of factory colors are how a standard door becomes your door. We bring samples to the estimate so you can see them against your siding and brick.

A new door is also the right time to look at the opener. If yours is older or loud, we can install a quiet LiftMaster with MyQ smartphone control at the same visit. See the opener lineup.

STRAIGHT ANSWERS

New garage door questions we get asked

How much does a new garage door cost in Northwest Arkansas?

New garage doors start at $785. From there the price comes down to the size of the opening, the style, the insulation and extras like windows or decorative hardware. A single car insulated steel door and a double car full view glass door are very different jobs, so we measure, show you options and give you a written price before you commit.

How long does a garage door installation take?

Most single residential door replacements are finished in one visit once your door arrives. Custom colors, full view glass and special order sizes take longer to come from the manufacturer, and we give you the timeline when you order.

Which garage door brands do you install?

ProDoor and Midland are our preferred manufacturers, and we also install Amarr and C.H.I. Overhead Doors. Between them they cover insulated steel, carriage house, wood-look, modern flush and full view glass and aluminum doors.

What R-value do I need for a garage door in Arkansas?

If the garage is attached, shares a wall with living space or has a room above it, an insulated door is worth it for Arkansas summers and winters. A detached shop can often get by with a single layer or lightly insulated door.

Are steel garage doors better than wood?

For most Northwest Arkansas homes, yes. Steel does not rot, warp or need refinishing, and wood-look collections like C.H.I. Planks and Amarr Classica give you the grain of wood with low maintenance steel underneath.

Are estimates on new garage doors free?

Yes. We come out, measure the opening, show you styles and colors and give you a written price at no charge. Bring us a written estimate from another Northwest Arkansas garage door company and we will match it or beat it, guaranteed.

Do you offer financing on a new garage door?

Yes. The financing page has the current options, or ask us when we come out to measure.

Should I replace my opener when I replace the door?

Not always. If your opener is newer and sized for the door, keep it. If it is older or loud, a quiet LiftMaster opener with MyQ smartphone control can go in at the same visit, from $445 with labor included.

“We recently had our garage doors installed and couldn’t be happier with the entire experience. The price was very fair, especially for the quality of the doors and equipment that were installed. Everything looks and works great.”
