LiftMaster installs · Genie, Chamberlain and Craftsman repair

Garage door openers, installed and repaired

LiftMaster openers from $445 installed with labor, with MyQ set up on your phone before we leave. We also repair Genie, Chamberlain and Craftsman units.

Chapter 01

When the opener reverses halfway, hums, or ignores the remote

A door that reverses halfway, hums without moving, or answers the wall button but not the remote usually needs a repair, not a new opener. The usual suspects are a stripped gear, a failed capacitor, a logic board, a misaligned sensor or a travel limit that has drifted. We fix LiftMaster, Genie, Chamberlain, Craftsman and other major brands.

If the opener is newer and the problem is a single part, repair it. If it is older, loud, lacks rolling code security or has failed more than once, replacement usually makes more sense. Many openers run 10 to 15 years with a balanced door and basic care, so we tell you which side of that line yours is on before any work starts.

Three LiftMaster models cover almost every Northwest Arkansas garage

LiftMaster is the opener brand we install on every job. Built by the Chamberlain Group, LiftMaster openers are known for strong motors, quiet operation and Security+ 2.0 rolling code remotes, and most models now include MyQ so you can run the door from your phone.

An opener is only as good as the door it lifts. On every install we check the springs and balance first, because a new opener on a door with a tired spring will not last. If the door needs work, we tell you before we start, and our repair team can handle it on the same visit.

Installed openers start at $445 with labor included. You get the full price before any work starts, and we will match or beat any written estimate from another Northwest Arkansas garage door company.

Chapter 03

MyQ, battery backup and the auto-reverse test before we leave

We mount the opener, program your remotes and keypad, and connect MyQ to your phone before we leave. Then we test the photo eyes, the auto-reverse and the travel limits, and show you how the manual release works.

Every opener install is backed by our lifetime workmanship warranty on top of LiftMaster's manufacturer warranty. Elite Garage Door Services is a licensed and insured Arkansas contractor, AR #0409380126, locally owned since 2018.

Openers we install

Three LiftMaster models, one starting price: $445 installed

The drive type and the features set the price. Chain drives cost least, quiet DC belt drives cost more, and a wall mount with battery backup sits at the top. Each opener carries its own LiftMaster warranty.

Everything around the opener, handled on the same visit

Opener repair, any brand

We install LiftMaster, and we service and repair Genie, Chamberlain, Craftsman and other major opener brands. A reversing door, a humming motor or a dead remote is often a part, not a replacement.

If the door is the real problem, our garage door repair team covers springs, cables, rollers and tracks, usually on the same visit.

MyQ smart control

The free MyQ app lets you open and close the door from anywhere, get an alert whenever it moves and set it to close automatically at night. We set it up for you before we leave.

Battery backup for storm season

Spring and summer storms knock the power out across Northwest Arkansas. A battery backup opener keeps working through an outage, so you are not stuck pulling the emergency release to get your car out.

Remotes, keypads and wall controls

We program new remotes, install wireless keypads and replace worn wall controls, and we make sure every device uses secure rolling code technology.

Safety sensors and auto-reverse

Every opener we install is set up with photo eye sensors and tested for safe auto-reverse before we leave. Misaligned or failing sensors are one of the most common reasons a door will not close.

From a Google review

“…they also took the time to help us connect everything to the myQ app, get our Wi-Fi set up correctly, and even helped us connect our vehicle to the system.”

Opener questions we get asked

Not sure which model fits your door? Tell us the make and model of what you have now when you call 479.354.0088. For new doors that pair with a new opener, see new garage doors.

Repair or replace my opener?

If the opener is newer and the problem is a single part, repair it. If it is older, loud, lacks rolling code security or has failed more than once, replacement usually makes more sense. Tell us the make and model when you call and we will say which it is.

What does MyQ actually do?

With the free MyQ app you can open and close the door from anywhere, get an alert whenever it moves, set it to close automatically at night and give delivery drivers or guests temporary access without handing out a remote. Many older openers can be connected with a MyQ smart hub.

Do you install openers with battery backup?

Yes. The LiftMaster 8500W includes battery backup, so you can still open and close the door when the power goes out, which matters in Northwest Arkansas storm season.

Chain drive or belt drive?

Chain drives are strong, dependable and cost less, which makes them a good fit for detached garages and heavy doors. Belt drives are much quieter, so they are the better choice when a bedroom or living space sits next to or above the garage.

How long does an opener last?

Many openers run 10 to 15 years with a balanced door and basic care. A door with worn springs makes the opener work harder and shortens its life, so we check the door balance on every opener call.
